Title:      The Novice is Missing . . . and so is the Convent Bike!

Author: Katey Moreland

Book Summary: ‘The Novice is Missing . . .  and so is the Convent Bike!’  is an autobiographical account of Katey Moreland’s life in (and escape from) a convent. Following Katey’s spiritual and emotional journey as revealed in her journals, the story is told with great humour and honesty from the perspective of her ‘younger self’.

High-spirited and loud with belly laughter that reaches the rafters, Kaitlyn, nonetheless, is called by God to become a nun. Her capers, mostly enjoyed by the Sisters surrounding her, are not appreciated by the Novice-Mistress! A relationship often fraught with tension comes to an abrupt end when Sister Mary Kaitlyn ‘cracks’, making a dramatic bid for freedom – on the convent bike! In the aftermath of her departure, Katey must face up to the consequences of her impetuous behaviour and ask herself what was she really running from and how will she resolve these issues. Throughout the story, Katey emphatically knows there is only One who can lead; only One who can heal and set free – and so, however painful the process, to Him she must turn!

Readers' Reviews

'Katey has you laughing almost non-stop as you read her book; there's a funny story every second page!'                                                                                                                                  John, Carrickfergus

'Katey, you're story is so encouraging-you were so bad and look how the Lord could still use you! So there's hope for the rest of us!                                                                                         Jean, Co. Offaly

As someone working with many women from difficult backgrounds I was so encouraged to read Katey's story of the healing of her self-image. I know multitudes will be inspired by her openness and courage to begin a personal journey of inner-healing for themselves.                                                   Caroline, Co. Antrim

Title:      Help Lord, I'm Trying to Relate!

Author: Katey Moreland

Book summary: Lessons on Effective Relationships from the Book of Genesis.
Probably the most critical and yet difficult aspect of life is that of living out effective and fruitful relationships with others. Thankfully, the Bible provides us with excellent examples that demonstrate both how and how not to do it! By studying both the positive and negative aspects of relationship in the book of Genesis, coupled with the teaching of Jesus, author Katey Moreland shows that it is God's will for us to succeed in our relationships, and that He has generously provided the means for us to do so.

Readers' Reviews

This is a book I can refer to again and again for much needed advice in dealing with issues through the power and authority of Christ. The results prove it's the work of God. For this reason I'd never lend my copy out (I'd be afraid I might never get it back!)                                                                               Pat, Cork

I've recommended this book to countless people who have needed healing, especially in the area of the womb, becoming pregnant and bearing children. By praying the prayer to break the curse of Eve they've found their problem is gone. As a result, babies are being born all over the county.                      Anna, Kildare

I thought I knew all the stories in the book of Genesis, but when I read Katey's understanding of what was happening in the relationships of the people in those stories, it made me go back and read Genesis with fresh eyes. Great read-I'm waiting for a similar book on Exodus!                                          Dr. Brynes, Yorkshire
